Kissing Daylight was originally formed in the summer of 1999 by Jerry Lovett. The original line up consisted of singer/guitarist/songwriter Jerry Lovett, bassist Brooke Swart and drummer Robert Smith. The band would go on to play several hand fulls of shows and in the fall of 2001 entered the studio to start recording it's debut cd. However, after laying down bass and drums tracks the band fell apart and eventually broke up. After a 10 year hiatus Jerry decided it was time to bring the band back. Inspired by new and fresh local talent, the prodding of long time friend and bandmate Poe Withered and most importantly the words of wisdom and help by Jerry Chambers. It was time for one more go around. |
